Interns are teachers who have been hired to serve as the teacher of record while they are completing their preliminary credentialing program.  Intern positions are only offered when there is a shortage of fully qualified candidates to fill a specific teaching need.  Interns must work with their Universities to ensure all credentialing requirements are fulfilled. Interns are not eligible to enroll in Induction, but we will provide informal mentoring to candidates in their new job roles. Once interns obtain their preliminary credential, they can transition to our formal Induction program as needed to clear their credential.
